Big bad Bold Binevenagh

Yeah right!!! A short dander up through the forest from St.Aiden's church ,hang a right and head up towards the right hand corner of the ridge. Views up here are fantastic. Binevenagh is AONB  ,we should have more of them.

Walking along the ridge line on a clear day  you will not be disapointed  .views as far as Donegal ,Not a navigational walk as the route is clearly marked but do mark out where you come out onto the forest track otherwise  6 clicks later you'll start to wander.

Donnard's Day

 We'll all go up Donnard ...it will be fun....... they said. This was a wake up call "Run Fatboy run "was all I could hear between the sound of my lungs trying to get air. I had always loved the freedom of the hills now I had an excuse ..... mid life crisis will get the blame.

Errigals Efforts

 Woke up Saturday....Errigal Day . Planned this for a couple of weeks .

Had a sore head Business awards dinner ouch!!!!!Set off with my walking partner who also happens to be my lovely wife, which is handy.
Arrived and started our approach across the Bogland ,soft under foot but no disasters.
Errigal had arrived a few hundred meters and I was gone .Calf muscles  burned  felt faint ....man up Miller .Slowly one in front of the other and I was walking pass the Cairn .Why is it so easy when your at the top?
